Let me start by saying that they have service. If you are into playing keno play here because the I won enough to cover my drinks. Good time was had by all.

1st time there great food, reasonable prices. We like it better than Texas Roadhouse. In regards they need peanuts & rolls like tx Roadhouse other than that we loved the food. When there try the loaded mashed potato pizza! It is awesome. It feed 4 of us adults.we had it as an appetizer well worth something different. Will be back since we go up that way each weekend.

Unimpressed staff was rude, the food was mediocre and the soda was flat. I had the Smoke Specialty pizza if I go again before I completely write them off I won't get that again. My daughter's chicken fingers and fries weren't to bad.

I had the spoked chicken wings and some ribs. The meat needs to be seasoned. The sauce was good. But I had the sauce on the side just so I could taste the flavor of the meat. They need to put a dry rob or somethong on this while smoking. It had a good smoked flavor but bland and seasonless.

Pretty meh in my opinion. The ribs might as well have been splurped out of a package. I'm not seeing the dry rub, or the smokey flavor.The burnt end appetizer was pretty good though.

I order on uber eats all the time. Love the food when I'm dining in. But unfortunately every time I order through uber eats the delivery is never RIGHT. The order is always missing something whether its the canned pops or food that I never got. The last time I ordered the wings were over cooked and the ribs were burnt. Please get it together SMOKEHOUSE! THE only reason I'm giving it 2 stars because I have faith that they can change this around!

Awesome menu made it hard to decide. Was in the mood for a burger, which was excellent. Can't wait to go back for ribs and brisket.

It's just as good here as it is in Painesville. The Justices Sweet Tea is a great choice on a warm day; not too sweet. Pictured here off the menu are: smoked peppers, smoked Caribbean jerk jumbo wings with fries and the roast beast with fries...

I'm not sure how to describe the experience here... The food was okay, but I didn't exactly enjoy it. We haven't been back since.

Food excellent. Prices surprisingly reasonable. One IPA on tap, rest are standards...not much craft on tap. Bottles available. BBQ was excellent, tried pulled pork and brisket. Menu not limited to BBQ, there are sandwiches, pizza, burgers, and salads available. Next to Lake County Captains stadium, 5 minute walk.

Ribs were good, tender and flavorful. They didn't have nearly enough sauce on them but now I'll know to ask for extra next time. The baked beans were to die for, maybe the best I've ever had. The slaw was edible but a kind of dry and not sweet enough to balance out the tang. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. My only regret is that I didn't get the mac n cheese but I'll be back.

I was pleasantly surprised when I came in today. The dining room has been revamped from when the building was the Captain's Club. Gone is the dark drab and worn room that used to be. In its place a nice bright and comfortable room. The Brisket Sandwich was quite good.

Okay, no restaurant will necessarily meet your expectations across the board. Every time I have visited Smoke, the staff was great and definitely made good recommendations. Their smoked jumbo wings are honestly the best wings I have ever had, definitely worth a try next time you visit!

Really nice atmosphere. Waitress could have been more friendly. Our second time there. Nice beer selection. We got the burnt ends and the homemade chips. Also a burger. Excellent choices!! The pulled pork sliders were good as well. Was not a big fan of the bbq sauce. Tasted standard to many store bought varieties and nothing distinct to make it stand out. But they also have Keno and other lottery options. I will definitely go back.

Excellent food. Amazing staff. Nice clean restaurant with plenty of barbecue options to satisfy your palate.

8/27/18...Beef "smoked" Brisket is greasy and fatty... with no smoked flavoring... huge disappointment! Green beans steamed with no seasoning, mac and cheese with bacon tastes like it came from a can... NOTHING homemade about it al all. Only thing they managed to get right was a bake potato. BBQ sauce tastes like ketchup. Awful meal, don't waste your time or your money stopping to try! 😝😫😖☹

Very good local BBQ place! I've been hoping for a restaurant like this for a while now in my area, and the food was excellent! Service was very fast and now that I know that there are coupons, we will be visiting again and spreading the word!

Sean has excellent customer service and the establishment gives back to the community. My husband and I have tried multiple items on the menu and have not been disappointed.

5 stars because my server was cute with a hot body The food great...ribblets baked beans potato and onion rings. Service was very good considering she was by herself. Ill go back next time im in town.

Great atmosphere and service was top notch. Side salad pre meal was huge. Ordered the combo BBQ platter with fries extra crispy and they were cooked that way as requested which doesn't always happen. Food arrived very quickly and hot.The platter meat portions were generous. Pulled pork was moist and smoky. The brisket was well seasoned and flavorful. Baby back ribs were just ok as they were a bit fatty and tough at the same time - might have got a so so cut. The hot link addition was a good choice with a skin that snapped. I was not a fan of the sweet BBQ sauce but I forgot to ask about the sauce options and ask for it on the side so that's on me. Overall this was a great experience and if we were locals (we live in the Atlanta area) we wouldn't hesitate to come back for more. It is a quick stop right off the main road so really convenient for travelers.

Good food, very good Service on last visit.

The ribs are AMAZING!!!. The mac and cheese to die for. And the bacon burnt ends is just the best thing since slice bread. Recommending to anyone who lives near by. And if u live far heck make the trip it's well worth it.

Been there twice in the last month and food is always good. Try the pulled pork barrito it's awesome

Food was lackluster. Pulled pork was hard to chew and came out covered in sauce. I like to put my own sauce on, but this was like pulled pork covered in ketchup right off the bat. Overall perfectly adequite Ohio bbq, but doesn't come anywhere close to being as good as authentic southern bbq. Decor was plain and the only ambient noise was tv commercials. My husband's burger was ok, can't mess up a burger too easily.

I'm surprised this place isn't always packed! Olivia is a very nice server, food comes out super fast and is good, very nice portion sizes and the restaurant is located in a great spot

Food was ok, had ribs. I like them when they fall off the bone. Theirs were not. Tasted good, just not what I like.

My boyfriend and I have eaten here before and really loved the food. Went again today and we were extremely dissatisfied. The Brunswick stew had no meat in it whatsoever and the chicken noodle soup (soup of the day) was maybe 8 spoonfuls of broth the rest was all noodles. The appetizer of the stuffed peppers was extremely disappointing as there were only 2 microscopic chunks of sausage and about half a block of cream cheese smooshed into the peppers. I don't think we will be going back if this is the quality of food they are going to be serving from now on.

1st visit. Everything was was very, very good. They do not smother everything in sauce! The burnt ends ( although not true burnt ends) we're my wife's favorite. Great place to watch a game. Recommend.

Good meal at a fair price in a comfortable place

We normally go to the Smoke BBQ in Painsville. Food and service was always a LOT better. The Vine street store has much room for improvement.There were a total of only 8 people in the entire place so it wasn't because they were all that busy. (see photo)It took over 10 minutes to get menus and over 30 to get drinks & any food. I ordered pulled pork and it turned out quite greasy. Much more than you'd expect.My wife ordered the brisket and it was so overcooked it was very dry. Cooked on a flattop to the point it was crispy and blackened.When we commented to the server she was never apologetic or even concerned. She was more interested in excuses as to why it was dry. She even commented that when it comes off the steamer and doesn't "look right" they put it on the flattop to heat it up.Needless to say the next time we want BBQ we will drive to Painsville.

It is very fairly priced, but nothing we had was worth rushing back for.
